What if I’m a beginner?

All levels are welcome in any of the classes! You can go at your own pace and modify or intensify any class depending on your needs.

They may vary from class to class. Yoga isn’t about the postures; it’s so much more about tuning into yourself and listening and honoring what you need.

What is the best way to view the classes?

To better suit your practice, in a room you can turn the lights low, not have any mirrors and let go of any comparison even to those on the screen, close your eyes if you’d like. The instructions should be clear enough you can. It’s your practice. For you.

What is free flow?

Every class, it’s encouraged to move at your own pace, in your own way. Always allowing space for intuitive movement. The greatest opportunity for that comes in the form of free flow.

Once or twice a class you are taught a sequence of postures and then given time to explore those. To either move with them at your own pace or create something altogether different. It’s part of the beauty; not being told what to do every second of every class - just to have a space to be and feel and express how you need to.

One more hint: the more classes you take, the more you pick up on cues and familiar postures. The flows will be easier to pick up and remember. :)
